From wine bar to winter memories: Jenni and Ted met at 33 Wine Bar, where he worked as a waiter. After she wrote him a flirtatious note on a napkin, he then returned the gesture by asking her out on a date (in front of his mother, who then grilled him on his life plans, as Jenni recalls). The rest is history: Ted proposed in front of his family on Christmas morning, a moment Jenni describes as private and emotional. Fittingly, the couple then hosted their rehearsal dinner at 33 Wine Bar.
Ceremony + Reception: The groom wanted a small wedding; the bride wanted to celebrate with friends and family they hadn’t seen in months during the pandemic. They kept the ceremony small with immediate family and a few aunts and uncles. “It was sweet and it felt like a perfect moment,” Jenni says. Afterwards, friends and family gathered at the Olive + Oak event space, where the Charles Glenn Band performed. Jenni attributes most of the planning to her mother: “Every detail that people liked was her responsibility.”
