NUSTAR Resort and Casino continues to invite guests to the island of new possibilities as the integrated resort joins the Cebu Food and Wine Festival for its second year.
With only the city’s most acclaimed cooks on its roster, the Cebu Food and Wine Festival is set to showcase Cebu’s renowned chefs through a series of epicurean events and wine pairings this month.
On June 26, NUSTAR Resort and Casino is holding two separate gatherings to celebrate the Cebu Food and Wine Festival. From 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, the resort will hold its wine tasting in the lobby of Fili Hotel, which will open soon. well called FiliVino, the event invites guests to an afternoon of varied wine accompanied by delicious typical Filipino dishes. When the clock strikes 6 p.m., the station will have its Wine and Cibo which invites guests to partake in an evening of Italian cuisine, wine and music at NUSTAR’s Il Primo, the only gourmet Italian steakhouse in Cebu. Ticket prices for each event are PHP 1,200 and PHP 5,888/per guest respectively.
As one of its host sites, the involvement of NUSTAR Resort and Casino will result in a variety of gastronomic delights that will satisfy local and international palates. As the region’s first and only integrated resort, NUSTAR currently boasts two high-end restaurants that elevate Chinese and Filipino cuisine, and Italian steakhouse Il Primo, run by celebrity Italian chef Luca Angioletti.
Chef Luca developed his passion for the culinary arts in his hometown of Perugia and began his career in 1998 in many of the most prestigious restaurants and hotels in Umbria. He now runs Cebu’s only gourmet Italian steakhouse with 20 years of culinary experience in global award-winning restaurants under his wing.
